About Ordofolio
Updated October 13, 2026
With Ordofolio you make and print the program for a wedding or a funeral for free. You choose the occasion and the kind of service. The order of service is then ready, with a short note on each part. You fill each part with a text from our library or with your own words. At the end you download a PDF that is ready to print on Letter paper.
The name comes from ordo, the order of a service, and folio, a folded sheet of paper. That is what you hold at the end.
We started in the Netherlands and Belgium, and opened the English version for the United States in October 2026, with the Christian wedding ceremony, the wedding ceremony without a church, the funeral service, the celebration of life and the homegoing service. Ordofolio is a product of Head Intelligence. Steven is the editor. Who writes the texts is on the editorial team page. More about the company is on the publisher details page.
What we stand for
What you type stays yours
Your program stays in your browser, on your own device. You do not need an account. If you share the program with your officiant or your guests, we encrypt it first on your own device. The key sits in the link, after the hash sign (#), and never reaches our server. We cannot read names, texts or photos. How that works is in the privacy policy.
Respect for the people who wrote the texts
Bible translations, hymns and poems have authors and rights holders. Ordofolio shows only texts we wrote ourselves, texts that are in the public domain in the United States, such as the King James Version and hymns and poems printed before 1931, and texts we have a license for. For other texts we show the reference and a note. If you paste a text into your program, Ordofolio adds the credit line its publisher asks for. The scripture readings pages say which translation you can print.
The officiant has the last word
The editorial team writes the orders of service and the notes from the service books and customs of each church. Still, the pastor or officiant decides what the service looks like. That is why you can have your program reviewed with one link: the officiant reads it, leaves comments and approves it. See a mistake? Email us at contact@ordofolio.com.
Free to make and to print
Making and downloading a program is free, for home printing, for the print shop and in large print. You see no ads in the program maker or in shared programs.
