Example wedding and funeral programs
Example programs for a Christian wedding, a wedding ceremony, a funeral service, a celebration of life and a homegoing. See the order and start from one.
An example shows what a program looks like at the end: the front, the order of service and the texts inside. The names are made up. The texts come from the Ordofolio library. If an example fits, start from it. You then change the names, the date and the texts.

Frequently asked questions
What goes in a wedding or funeral program?
The front carries the names, the date and the place. Inside, the service follows step by step: the music, the readings, the prayers and who does what. Many programs end with the wedding party or the pallbearers, a thank-you from the family and where the reception is.
What is the difference between a funeral service and a celebration of life?
A funeral service follows the order of a church service, with scripture readings, hymns, the eulogy and prayers. A celebration of life is shaped by the family: welcome, music, memories, a reading and closing words. A homegoing is the funeral service of many Black churches, with its own order.
How many pages does a program have?
That depends on the service and on how many readings and songs you print in full. Every Letter sheet becomes four half-letter pages after folding, so the count is always a multiple of 4: 4, 8, 12 or more.
Can I change an example?
Yes. Start from the example that looks most like your service. Then change the names, the date, the texts and the design. Your program stays in your browser, on your own device.
Are the names in the examples real?
No, the names are made up. The texts come from the Ordofolio library, so you see how they look in a printed program.
