Terms of use

Updated October 7, 2026

This is a draft. A lawyer is still checking these terms, and they may change. This is a translation of the Dutch terms: if the two differ, the Dutch text applies.

These terms apply when you use Ordofolio. By using Ordofolio, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Ordofolio is a product of Head Intelligence, based in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42030553. You can reach us at contact@ordofolio.com.

2. What Ordofolio does

With Ordofolio you make the program for a wedding or a funeral. The builder works in your browser and keeps your program on your own device. You can share a program, encrypted, with your officiant or with guests. Making and downloading a program is free. We may improve or change Ordofolio, or stop parts of it.

3. Your own texts and photos

What you put in your program yourself stays yours. By adding a text or a photo, you confirm that you may use it. For example:

  • Bible texts from a modern translation only within the publisher's rules, with its credit line;
  • song lyrics only with permission from the church, the publisher or the songwriter;
  • poems by others only if you may use them;
  • photos you took yourself or may use. A professional photographer often owns the rights to their photos, so check your agreement with the photographer.

4. Permission to process your program

If you share a program, you give us permission to store the encrypted version, keep it and show it to anyone who has the link. We do this only to provide the service. We can't read the content and don't use it for anything else.

5. What is not allowed

You don't use Ordofolio for content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others, such as texts or photos used without permission, threats, hate speech or other people's private information. You don't try to get around Ordofolio's security or disrupt the service.

6. Reporting and removal

Do you see content in a shared program that you believe is illegal? Report it with our report form. We review every report carefully. Because shared programs are encrypted, we can only disable or delete a whole shared program, not part of it. If we do, we explain why.

7. Order of service and texts

Ordofolio explains the parts of a service and offers texts. We do our best to keep those explanations correct, and we ask people who lead these services to review them. We don't guarantee that your program is right for your church or your service. The officiant decides on the order of service, so always have the officiant review your program.

8. Storage and availability

Your program is on your own device. Save a file regularly as a backup. A shared program can only be opened with the full link. If you lose the link, we can't get the program back for you. We do our best to keep Ordofolio available, but we don't guarantee that the service always works without errors.

9. Liability

Ordofolio is free, and you use it at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage from using Ordofolio, such as printing errors, a lost program or a program that isn't ready in time. This limitation doesn't apply in case of intent or gross negligence on our part.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. The date of this page shows when that last happened. We announce big changes clearly on the website.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer and live in another country, you keep the protection that the law of your country gives you.
